With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the nature, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we alone or jointly with others decide on the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you below about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to increase the quality of use, insofar as third parties process data under their own responsibility.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right:

  • to confirmation as to whether data concerning them are being processed,

  • to information about the processed data,

  • to further information about data processing and copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR),

  • to rectification or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR),

  • to the immediate erasure of data concerning them (see also Art. 17 GDPR), or alternatively, insofar as further processing is required pursuant to Art. 17(3) GDPR, to restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR,

  • to receive the data concerning them that they have provided and to transmit these data to other providers/controllers (see also Art. 20 GDPR),

  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that data concerning them are being processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data have been disclosed by the provider of any correction or deletion of data or restriction of processing carried out pursuant to Articles 16, 17(1), 18 GDPR. This obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, users have the right to information about these recipients.

Users and data subjects also have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided that the data are processed by the provider pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing is permissible.


 

III. Information on data processing

The data processed when using our website are deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for storage no longer applies, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion and no differing provisions are made below for individual processing procedures.

To obtain consent for the use of technically non-essential cookies on the website, the provider uses a cookie manager. c) Removal options

Contact inquiries

If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. Providing this data is necessary to handle and respond to your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once the inquiry has been fully processed, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.


 

Customer account / registration

If you create a customer account on our website, we collect and store the data entered during registration (e.g. name, address, email address) exclusively for pre-contractual services, contract performance, or customer care. We also store the IP address and date/time of registration. These data are not shared with third parties.

Consent is obtained during the registration process. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the account serves contract performance or pre-contractual measures. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. Data are deleted when no longer required, subject to statutory retention periods.


 

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our free newsletter, the required data (email address, optionally name and address) are transmitted to us. We also store your IP address, date and time of registration. Data are used exclusively for newsletter distribution and are not shared with third parties.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke consent at any time via notification or the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter.


 

User contributions, comments and reviews

If you publish content on our website, we process and publish your contribution, date/time, and any pseudonym used. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time.

We also process IP and email addresses due to our legitimate interest in legal protection in cases of unlawful content. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.


 

Contract processing

Data provided for ordering goods or services are processed for contract fulfillment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data are deleted after contract completion, subject to statutory retention periods. Data may be shared with shipping companies or payment providers where necessary.
